VOLUNTEERING AT FAIRWEATHER......

“I volunteered to help Fairweather as I was looking to give some of my free time to help a worthy cause.  I found the perfect way for me to feel I was making a difference and help people. 

 

Once I got to know the people and the goals of Fairweather, I realised they were a small charity with big ideas, who provided massive and invaluable support to people in need.

 

I have gained a sense of pride in the knowledge that I am helping, even a small way. My hope is that by working alongside staff, I can support existing and future service users. 

 

Being part of a team working on a common goal benefitting people in difficult situations is a wonderful feeling. We've all needed support at some point in our lives and to give something back feels good.

 

I would encourage anyone with some time on their hands to help Fairweather in any way they can.
